Lakshadweep District Panchayat PCC B. Hassan Performed the formal Inauguration. He said that the sports sector of Chetlath Island will be of great benefit through this ground and it should be maintained with excellence and he congratulated the Island Panchayat for completing such a great task beautifully.
In the absence of Chairperson P. Razina, Vice Chairperson M. Ali Akbar Presided, Block Development Officer M. Abu Salih, Medical Officer Dr. Dilshad, Principal, C. Muhammad Iqbal Panchayat members Muhammad Jalaluddin KT and Fatimatul Bushra participated.
The enthusiastic Inaugural program was marked by the presence of youth and students. In the inaugural competition, The football team players of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam School dressed in the jerseys of Argentina and Brazil teams and created excitement and enthusiasm among the spectators.
The foundation stone was laid on October 28 and the turf construction was completed and opened in just 49 days. Chetlath panchayat charioteers can take pride in the fact that this achievement marks a new milestone in the history of Chetlath island.
