Chetlat VDP donated State-of-the-art beds to the hospital with the award money received for the best panchayat. Again the Chetlath model.

Exemplary initiative of Chetlath Village Dhilip Panchayat by gifting modern patient beds to the ward of primary health center for the convenience of patients. In a simple ceremony at the hospital, Chairperson Mrs. Razina formally handed over the equipment to Medical Officer Dr. Dilshad. Vice Chairperson M. Ali Akbar, Lady Medical Officer Dr. Shahida, Panchayat members and hospital staff were present.

It aims to strengthen the island's health sector infrastructure

 Provided fiber coated patient beds of quality and comfortable for patients and hospital staff. All the old beds in male and female wards have been replaced with new ones.

 Chetlath village panchayat had provided cardiac monitor and ICU equipment to the same hospital last year. The equipment has now been made available using the National Panchayat Award given by the Central Panchayat Ministry in recognition of the Panchayat's excellent work.

This popular movement of Chetlath Gram Panchayat, which has already won popular acclaim for its remarkable and varied activities in the fields of education, health, culture and sports, is surely to be emulated.
